Dr. Steffes' practice is centered around caring for athletic injuries of the shoulder, elbow, hip, knee, and ankle for all ages. He emphasizes a holistic approach to address injuries and forms an individualized treatment plan for each patient centered on their needs and goals. If a patient does require surgery, he utilizes the latest in arthroscopic and minimally invasive techniques.

He currently serves a team physician for the St Louis Cardinals, Lindenwood University, and multiple area high schools and club athletic teams.

He has extensive experience caring for athletes at the high school, collegiate and professional levels, and has served as a team physician for the Los Angeles Rams, Galaxy, Sparks, Dodgers and Angels, Anaheim Ducks, Loyola Marymount and Pepperdine Universities. He has published multiple research projects and presented these both nationally and internationally, has authored numerous book chapters, and is an editor for the most referenced online publication, Orthobullets.
